Valley Hops Beer Garden is a sprawling oasis over two levels, made for dropping in, grabbing a beer and a bite, and letting your hair down in the heart of the Valley.
At the heart of the venue on the ground floor, the Beer Garden brings together low and high tables, booths and cushioned seating for everything from a quick beer to a long lunch.
Settle in over the full menu or drop by for a bite and a brewery-fresh beer. Order from your table via the beacon or head straight to the bar.
The Mezzanine on level two comes into its own after dark as the venue shifts into late-night mode.

Enter under the large Valley Hops Brewing neon sign on Ann Street. Stay on the ground floor for the Valley Hops Beer Garden, head up to the Mezzanine, or take the lift to Level 5 for the original Valley Hops Brewing rooftop and brewhouse.
Valley Hops is an independent brewery in the heart of Fortitude Valley, with two venues in one location.
Up on the Rooftop (level five), the original Valley Hops Rooftop is home to Queensland’s only rooftop brewery and bar, pouring independent beer brewed on site. Settle in with a wood-fired pizza or something from the charcoal grill, then take in the sunshine, city views and energy of the neighbourhood we call home.
Downstairs, Valley Hops Beer Garden spans the Ground Floor and Mezzanine on level two, bringing the Valley together over good food and brewery-fresh beer from the rooftop. Drop in for lunch, settle in for knock-offs or linger longer as the afternoon gives way to music, entertainment and celebrations.

We ask all guests to maintain a smart-casual standard. Clothing displaying gang insignia is not permitted. Face and neck tattoos are not permitted, while other visible tattoos are subject to management discretion.

Valley Hops is at 641 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley, near the corner of Ann and Brunswick Streets. We’re around 30 metres from Brunswick Street Mall and Chinatown. Look for the large Valley Hops Brewing neon sign on Ann Street.
By train
Fortitude Valley Station is the closest train station, around a four-minute walk via Brunswick Street or six minutes via Chinatown.
By bus
Nearby stops include Brunswick Street near Ann Street, Brunswick Street near McLachlan Street and Ann Street at Valley Island.
By car and parking
Paid parking is available nearby at McWhirters Secure Parking, 13 Warner Street, around 100 metres away, and at the Chinatown car park across the road from Valley Hops.
By rideshare
The closest rideshare pick-up and drop-off point is on Marshall Street, around 50 metres north of Valley Hops.

For groups dining from a set menu in Valley Hops Beer Garden with a beverage package, drinks can also be served directly to your table.
We brew independent beer that locals love to drink, right here in Fortitude Valley. Made upstairs in Queensland’s only rooftop brewery and bar, it’s poured fresh throughout Valley Hops, including the Beer Garden below.
Our approachable core range runs from crisp, refreshing lagers to hazy, juicy and bolder brews, alongside seasonal releases and limited batches that keep things interesting without pushing the taste buds too far.
Yes, of course. We’ll do our best to accommodate food allergies and dietary requirements, with suitable options clearly marked across our menus. Please note, we’re unable to cater for lifestyle preferences such as keto, low-carb or low-sugar diets.
Sorry, we don’t allow outside cakes to be brought into the venue. The Beer Garden menu does include some delicious dessert options, though, so you can still finish the celebration on a sweet note.
Sorry, we don’t allow balloons or outside decorations in the venue. The good news is, Valley Hops already knows how to dress for a party!
Yes. The Valley Hops Beer Garden is wheelchair accessible on the Ground Floor, and a lift provides access to Valley Hops Rooftop on Level 5.

Yes. Minors are welcome when dining, provided they remain with a responsible adult at all times. They may stay in the dining area for the duration of their meal but must leave the venue by 9 pm.
